Joseph A. Baker (Joe), born September 19, 1951, in Portland, Oregon, and passed away February 11, 2023. He passed away at home surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Cathie; children Read Obituary
Joe was my best friend in HS. He was liked by all. A really good guy! A hell of a football player. One of the best blockers on the team. I knew we could always run his direction. I was able to spend some time with him recently and greatly enjoyed it. He will be missed.

Joe was a great friend through school and all the years after, being reunion committee members for the Class of 1970. Joe cared deeply for our class and was a hard committee worker. Always enjoyed talking with him about Hawaii. I will miss him greatly.
I went through all of grade school and high school with Joe. Class of ‘70.
A great classmate. Heck of a wrestler and football player. Mr. Touchdown. I’ll miss your bright eyes and half smile. Great to cross paths with you over the years here in Scappoose. Such a loss to lose a great guy like you Joe. My heartfelt sympathy and condolences goes out to the family.
