Joseph C. Barker's Obituary
Joseph C. Barker was born on December 7, 1940 in S. International Falls, MN. to Arvid & Violet Miller Barker.
He died at a Portland hospital on May 4, 2009 at the age of 68.
He was educated in Minnesota and graduated in 1959. He went on into the Air Force in 1960 and discharged in 1964. He moved to St. Helens in 1967 from Minnesota. He worked at Boise for 41 years, retiring in 2000.
He was a member of St. Frederic Catholic Church, he enjoyed water sports and snow skiing.
Survivors include: Wife Lilia Barker of St. Helens; Daughters: Melissa Barker of Springfield, OR.; Gina Matney of Hillsboro, OR.; 2 grandchildren: Aaron & Hanna Matney.
Funeral service: Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 7:00 PM at St. Frederic Catholic Church.
