Judith Ann Brackeen's Obituary
Judith Ann Brackeen also known as “Judy” was born on August 21st, 1944, in Borger Texas to June and James Brackeen. After a short marriage to James, Judy’s mother remarried to Bill Jones, who she knew as Dad. She was 21 months younger than her older brother Jeffery and was the big sister to Kenith, Jerry, Joe, Debbie and Sherry.
Judy Married Alton Dudley on November 21st, 1964, in Chicago. They went on to have two children, Kelli Anne Dudley and Scott Jamison Dudley. Judy with family moved out west to Arizona in 1982, where she later met and married James Rector.
Judy was very successful as an executive secretary and as an award-winning sales leader in the travel industry. Judy is loved by so many. She never met a stranger. Judy will always be remembered by everybody that met her as a genuine soul with the warmest of spirits. Her love for the lord shined through her everyday life. Judy was the most generous and kind person, who truly shined Jesus’s light.
Her biggest accomplishments are being a loving Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by her Daughter Kelli, Brother Joe, Sisters Debbie and Sherry and her five grand kids Steven, Heather, Kent, David and Caleb. Along with her three Great Grandchildren Serenity, Aila and Kalani.
Judy passed away on August 1st, 2024, in her home surrounded by family that loved and adored her.
