Kathleen "Kathy" Janet Johnson's Obituary
Kathleen “Kathy” (Erickson) Johnson passed away at home on April 5, 2022, she was 73.
Kathy was born on April 8, 1948, in St Helens to Carl and Bonnie Erickson. She grew up and resided her entire life in Scappoose. Kathy graduated in 1966 from Scappoose High School.
Whether it was being in a rodeo as a barrel racer, making a broom, building a float for the Scappoose Pow Wow parades, driving a truck or building a deck she was a woman of many different talents, but her true passions were her dogs, horses and helping any animal she came across. She enjoyed traveling on the motorcycle or in the motor home with her family and being outside working on numerous projects. After retiring from the Oregon Food Bank, she enjoyed the extra time with her granddaughter and husband.
Kathy was predeceased by her husband Michael Johnson and is survived by daughter Heather (Dennis) Viereck; granddaughter Isabelle (Antonio) Viereck; sister Delores VanLaer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of her life will be determined at a later date.
