Kathryn Maureen Heino
November 9, 1974 ~ February 5, 2018
Miss Heino died from complications from pneumonia on February 5, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born November 9, 1974, at Torrejon Air Force Base, Madrid, Spain, to John W. and Barbara L. Heino. After her father’s retirement from the Air Force in 1976, they moved to Scappoose, Oregon where she attended school, and later worked at Riverside Training Center in St. Helens.
She resided with her father until a few years ago when she moved into the Evergreen group home in Scappoose.
Kathryn was very fond of her coworkers, caregivers and roommates at Riverside Training Center.
She had a love for music and especially enjoyed her trips to the Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, and loved spending time at the beach.
She is survived by her brothers, John W. Heino III and Gregory L. Heino, both of Scappoose. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara L. Heino; her sister, Karen M. Heino Hackenberg; and her father, John W. Heino Jr.
A Private Burial Service will be held February 15, 2018 at Willamette National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Oregon Special Olympics or Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp.
