Kathryn W. Baird was born on March 12, 1944 in Portland, OR. to Wallace & Susan Kato Wong.
She died on April 11, 2007 at a Portland hospital at the age of 63.
She graduated from Cleveland High School in 1962.
She married Thomas Baird on July 26, 1969 and they lived in Scappoose for 38 years.
Before her first child she worked for Northwest Regional Education research, she more recently was a child caregiver and homemaker.
Survivors include: Husband: Thomas Baird of Scappoose; Sons: Thomas Baird, Jr. of St. Helens; Jason Baird of Scappoose; Joe Baird of Portland; 3 brothers: Ron Wong of Vancouver, WA.; Duane & Jim Wong, both of Portland; 4 grandchildren.
