Kay Hartman's Obituary
Kay Hartman was born in Sterling, CO. on May 8, 1934 to John & Jessie Vanderpool Williams, raised by William Pop Couch.
She died at her home in St. Helens on November 23, 2003 at the age of 69.
She was educated in Laramie, Wyoming and she married Bill Hartman on April 14, 1962 in Longview, WA.
They lived in St. Helens for a number of years until 1987 when they retired and moved to Tillamook. They moved back to St. Helens in 2002 to be closer to family.
They co-owned the Dairy Delish in St. Helens for 5 years and she worked in a Grocery store in Tillamook.
They were members of the Eagle, Moose and Elks Lodges. Her interests included reading, cooking, bowling, playing cards, dancing, an R.V. club, and most of all her grandchildren, family & friends.
Survived by: Husband: Bill Hartman of St. Helens; Daughter & son-in-law: Brenda & Rod Burnett of Colorado Springs, CO.;
Son & daughter-in-law: Nick & Anice Hartman of St. Helens; Daughter & son-in-law: Christy & Brad Wagner of Laramie, Wyoming. 4 stepchildren: Sherry Anderson of Harbor, OR.; Kathy Dent of Myrtle Creek, OR.; Terry Hartman of Puyallup, WA.; Cindy Findley of Saginaw, MI.; Siblings: Bernadeen Pettit of Glenora, CA. Colleen Armstrong of Columbia City, OR.; Herschal Williams of Riverton, Wyoming; Jerry Williams of Camp Verte, AZ.; 26 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
Viewing & visitation 9-5 Tuesday at Columbia Funeral Home
Funeral Service: Wed. 11/26/03 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home-reception to follow at Spring Meadow Assisted Living Center at 2:00 PM
Private interment: Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery
