Kenneth F. Strohecker's Obituary
Kenneth F. Strohecker was born January 15, 1926 in Mt. Carmel, Pennsylvania to Cyrus and Erma Lubold Strohecker. He died on January 31, 2008 at his home in Scappoose at the age of 82.
Kenneth came to Oregon with the Navy in 1943. He was stationed at the Blimp Hangars in Tillamook, Oregon.
After the Navy, he began a career in the Trucking Industry. He retired from Widing Transportation in 1989. He spent the last 22 years in Scappoose.
Kenneth is survived by Son, Kenneth Strohecker of Portland, Oregon, Daughters, Lori Hill of Scappoose, Robin Flynn of Camas, Washington and Lynne Spencer of Clatskanie, Oregon; sisters: Shirley Strong, Erma Sweigart and Sarah Fehr all of Pennsylvania; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 7 at 12:00 noon at New Hope Community Church in Portland. Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery.
