Kenneth Lloyd Harrington's Obituary
Kenneth Harrington a long-time resident of St. Helens, Oregon passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 95. He was born October 10, 1928, in Anchorage, Alaska to Otis and Ester (Teich) Harrington. Ken grew up and attended school in Anchorage graduation with the class of 1947, he later attended Perry Technical Institute from 1955 to 1957. While attending trade school Ken married Phyllis Cummins on March 17, 1956. They lived in Spokane, Washington where Ken worked for Inland Empire Paper Co. from 1957 – 1967. In 1967 they moved to St. Helens, Oregon, Ken started work with Boise Cascade where he stayed until retirement in 1991. They were members of Columbia Christian Church on South 15th, he also enjoyed being a handy man, gardening, and his yard work.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Phyllis Harrington and their four children: Bruce Harrington, Kenneth “Mark” Harrington, Sherry Harrington, and Cynthia Nollette. Four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings Robert and Laverne.
Friend’s of Ken are welcome to attend his funeral on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 2:30 PM at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens, OR.
