Kenneth I. Stansbury's Obituary
Kenneth I. Stansbury was born on July 8, 1923 in Holton, OR. to Silas & Winnifred Rowe Stansbury.
He died at a Portland Hospital on March 11, 2005 at the age of 81.
He was educated at McBride School, in the Army During WWII 43-46, married to Helen on 7/12/68 in Reno, NV.
He was the maintenance supervisor at Boise for 34 years, retiring in 1983.
He has lived in the area all of his life and enjoyed gardening, yarkwork, woodworking, tinkering and could fix anything-a jack of all trades.
Survived by: Wife: Helen Stansbury of Scappoose; 3 stepchildren: Mary Martin of Hillsboro; Texas Martin of Portland; Boyd Martin of St. Helens; Brother: Ray Stansbury of St. Helens; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Gathering: Friday, March 25, 2005 from 2-4 at the Columbia Tribute Center.
Private interment: Willamette National Cemetery-Portland, OR.
