Obituary of Kenneth Wayne Dykes Sr.
Ken Dykes, Sr. passed away at his home in Scappoose, April 30, 2011. He was 74 years of age.
Ken was born July 28, 1936 at Harrison, Oklahoma to Bob & Ruby Lee Gaither Dykes, one of seven children. He was the owner and operator of K & E Video's. These were the first video stores in Scappoose and Hazel Dale, Washington and he owned them from 1980 until 1992. He had a travel trailer that he traveled in for many years, but he finally settled in Scappoose and has lived here for the last five years.
Ken is survived by his son, Kenneth Wayne Dykes, Jr. of Scappoose, Grandchildren; Kevin and Jessica Dykes of Scappoose, girlfriend; Sheri Siblings; Henry, Anita, Lacrida, Walter, and Gerald.
