Kristina Leann Brixey's Obituary
Kristina Leann was born August 26, 1986 in Portland, Oregon. On July 22, 2010 her life came to a tragic end in a car accident on Highway 30 in St. Helens. She was only 23 years old.
Kristina grew up in Oregon; moving around the Hillsboro, and Beaverton area and then Saint Helens. She was raised in part by her entire family aunt and uncle, mother and step father, and grandparents.
She graduated from Hillsboro High and was currently enrolled at the University of Phoenix working toward a degree in business finance. She and Joey had a long-term goal of opening a recreation center with indoor skate park and clothing store where kids could have fun but without the influence of drugs.
Kristina married her soul mate, Joey Brixey, on October 4, 2007 in Saint Helens. Their life was complete with the birth of daughter, Vienna Leann Brixey.
Being outdoors was Kristina's favorite. She enjoyed, camping, hiking, and to just walk aimlessly around the Portland streets at night. She was a member of PETA and loved animals. She liked fashion and reading and going to the ballet. She was passionate about life and could accomplish anything she set her mind to.
She had worked at Composites Universal Group in Scappoose. She was recently employed at Miratron in Portland where the laid back work environment was more appealing.
Kristina is survived by her husband, Joey; daughter Vienna; mother and step-father, Timberly and Scott Kloepfer, Sister, Amanda Easton; brother, Jon Easton; grandparents, Wanda and Greg Gabelman; grandfather, Donald Wischnofske; uncle and aunt, Ron and Barbara Hansen; and many other loving relatives and friends.
