Lane W. Brown's Obituary
Lane W. Brown was born on June 30, 1938 in Holton, Kansas to Robert & Inez Fernkopf Brown.
He died at a Portland hospital on June 28, 2008 at the age of 69.
He moved to the Portland/Scappoose area up Cornelius Pass from Kansas in 1941. He graduated from Scappoose High School in 1956. He was in the US Navy from October of 1956 to October of 1958.
He was a tug boat captain for Foss Marintine for 19 years, retiring in 1997.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge, enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding ATV and going to the grandkids sporting events.
Survivors include: Children: Amy Albertson, Sherry Christy, Holly, Rick & Steve Brown; Brother: Gary Brown; 17 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
Private family services to be held.
Private interment: Willamette National Cemetery-Portland, Oregon.
