Larry L. Brooks' Obituary
Larry L. Brooks was born on August 11, 1932 in Littlerock, WA. to Thisel & Constance Stephens Brooks.
He died in St. Helens on June 5, 2006 at the age of 73.
He moved to Scappoose in 1943 from Littlerock, WA., living here for 63 years.
He married Myrtle in Vancouver, WA. on October 19, 1951.
He worked as a storekeeper for Boise for 37 years, retiring in '89. He was also a Church of God pastor for 25 years.
Survivors include: Wife: Myrtle Brooks; Children & Spouses: Debbie & John Custer; Larry & Seana Brooks; Karen & Jeff Reinan; Todd & Vicki Brooks; 13 grandchildren; Mike & Joe Glosenger; Shannon & David Worlitz; Melissa, Micah, Jennifer & Chuck Woods; Erik, Britta & Gretchen Reinan; Bryant & Bridget Brooks; 3 great-grandchildren: Dakota & Andrew Worlitz, Jaeden Wood; Sister-in-law: Leona Brown.
Many nieces, nephews & thier families.
Celebration of Life: Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Park Community Church-St. Helens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Yankton Community Fellowship, Sunset Park Community Church Building Fund, Meals on Wheels or to a charity of ones choice.
