Laura G. Floeter-Young's Obituary
Laura G. Floeter Young was born December 4, 1946 in Portland, Oregon to Walter Allen and Doris Isabelle Weber Floeter. She has lived most of her life in Vernonia and Scappoose.
She married Bill Young on May 10, 1991 in Vancouver, WA.
Laura was a manager at Bonneville Power Administration for 32 years, retiring April 1, 2005. She was a member of Scappoose Church of Christ; and the president of the Bayview Cemetery Board of Directors.
Family was the most important part of her life. She enjoyed telling family adventures through scrapbooking. Other favorite past times were painting, geneology and travel.
Survivors include, her gusband, Bill of Scappoose; her daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Jon Wehage of Tillamook; stepchildren: Debbie and Floyd Donaldson of Scappoose, and Robert Young of New Mexico; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cherlyn and Mike Newcomer of Scappoose, Susan and Jim Remsen of Vernonia; her brother and his wife; Walter and Susan Floeter, Jr of Beaverton; her mother, Doris Weber of Scappoose; nephew, michael Newcomer, Nieces; Mellisa Howard and Abby Floeter; grandchildren, Clayton and Cassandra Wehage, Kai, Ian and Micah Donaldson.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home with burial at Bayview Cemetery in Warren.
