Laurice Suzanne Seufert's Obituary
Laurice S. Seufert was born on April 19, 1941 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Lloyd & Louise (Halbrook) Braim.
She died at her home in Deer Island, Oregon on April 5, 2013 at the age of 71.
Laurice attended and graduated from Gresham High School in 1959. She married Ervin on October 21, 1960 at Russelville Methodist Church in Portland.
They moved to the area in 1965 until present. She taught Sunday school and attended Canaan Community Church. She was also a member of the Deer Island Grange, Canaan/Deer Island Home Extension and the Kinder Cemetery Association.
Her interests included cross stitching and needle point, knitting, raising sheep. She was a shepardess of the four legged lambs as well as the two legged ones in her Sunday School class.
Survivors include: Husband: Ervin Seufert of Deer Island; Daughter: Kimberly Seufert of Wichita Falls, TX.; Son: Kerry Seufert of Deer Island, OR.; Siblings: Lloyd A. Braim of Michie, TN.; Linda Bogert of Cleveland, OK.; Drais Fharnhan of Elephant Butte, N. Mexico; Nancy McNaughton of Gresham, OR.
Celebration Of Life: Saturday, April 20, 2013 at St. Helens Bible Church.
Private Family Interment: Kinder Cemetery-Deer Island, Oregon
