Grandma Laverne was a caring and loving woman. She never forgot a birthday and continued to send me cards on every single one (I'm 34!) She prayed for me throughout all of the challenges life threw at me and celebrated with all of my successes! She will be missed but I know she is closer to me now than she was in life. Rest in Peace, Grandma Laverne.

There are so many happy memories, but this stands out for me
Having a lunch waiting for me when I came home from Dental School each day...sharing my day with Grandma Laverne, Aunt Millie, and Great Grandma Lydia..we also would watch episiodes of "Little House on the Prairie" and drink hot chocolate on Monday nights, it was our girls time together
She was a wonderful, loving and caring Grandmother, always expressing her kindness and love, she knew my brother, sister and I and always, always supported us. She knew the depths of our hearts and our heartaches as well
She made sure we felt loved and secure through life's storms
I was very blessed to have her in my life, she will be dearly missed
