Lawrence F. Hilton was born on June 17, 1922 in Scotts Mills, Oregon to Frank & Elizabeth Mitts Hilton.
He died in a Vancouver WA. hospital on June 21, 2008 at the age of 86.
He attended school in Mollala & Scotts Mills, Oregon.
Married to Laura Pendergrass on 8/3/40 in Oregon City, Oregon.
He worked in St. Helens and Tillamook in the Weyerhauser Plywood Mill from 1968 until retirement in 1984.
They lived in Scappoose/St. Helens are for 42 years and moved to Vancouver, WA. in 2005 to be closer to family.
His interests included fishing and hunting.
Survivors include: Wife: Laura Hilton; Children: Arleta Gossett both of Vancouver, WA.; Jean Timmons, Frank Hilton both of Rainier, OR.; Siblings: Lela Nicholson of Mulino, OR.; Dorothy Pearsall of Coupeville, WA.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.; Preceded in death by son: Jeffrey in '91.
Viewing & visitation: 9-5 Tuesday
Funeral Service: Wednesday, 6/25/08 at 1:00 PM both at Columbia Funeral Home
Committal service & interment: Bayview Cemetery.
