Lawrence Leonard Nollette, Jr.'s Obituary
Lawrence Leonard "Larry" Nollette, Jr. was born on June 6, 1923 in Bonesteel, S. Dakota to Lawrence L. Nollette, Sr. & Cynthia H. Stamper.
He died in his home in St. Helens on April 22, 2007 at the age of 83.
He was educated in Nebraska and McMinnville, Oregon. He moved to McMinnville in 1936 and to St. Helens in 1954 until present.
He was married to Charlotte Plahn in '47, they divorced in 1962; he married Janice Shoening in '66 and later divorced.
He worked at Boise in the finishing room in 1953 and retired as an oiler in 1985.
He was in the Navy during World War II. He was in the civilian conservation corp.
Interests included fishing, metal detecting and walking.
Survivors include: Children: Gloria Smart of St. Helens: Melody Grenz of Salem; Randy Nollette of St. Helens; Steve Nollette of Mt. Vernon, WA.; Siblings: JoAn Ferris of McMinnville; Linda Henry of Amity, OR.; Jeanne Hoff of Sheridan, OR.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
