Lawrence ''Larry'' R. Jauron's Obituary
Larry R. Jauron was born on March 23, 1936 in St. Helens, OR. to Raymond & Mary McGilvra Jauron.
He died at Community Hospice in Longview, WA. on
Janaury 24, 2004 at the age of 67.
He was raised, educated and lived his entire life in St. Helens.
He married Carol Mitchell in April of 1966 in Manteca, CA.
He was the Columbia Co. Road Supervisor for 30 years, retiring in 1998.
Member of the St. Helens Elks Lodge, Past State Moose Governor, and past president of St. Helens Moose Lodge. Member of the Columbia County racing association. He enjoyed building, working on and racing his own car for many years. He was a jackman for the SW and NW tour and the Winston West Series.
Actively involved in grandkids school & sporting events.
Survived by Wife: Carol Jauron, Children: Chuck & Deana Jauron all of St. Helens; Siblings: Paul Jauron of Tacoma, WA., William & Phillip Jauron both of St. Helens, OR., Carolyn Bain of Tacoma, WA., Frances Pickens of St. Helens, Patty Jauron of Portland, OR.; 2 grandsons: Bradley & Tyler Jauron of St. Helens; Numerous Nieces & Nephews.
Memorial Service: Saturday 1/31/04 at 2:00 PM at St. Helens Elks Lodge.
Private interment: Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery
