Leon Degerness was born in Gary, Minnesota on August 1, 1928, and lived in the Scappoose/Warren area for 64 years while working at Oregon Steel Mill in Portland, Oregon.
He passed away on July 9, 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; four children, John, Linda, Blaine and Brian, three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
At Leon's request, there was no memorial service.
