Leonard D. Wilson's Obituary
Leonard D. Wilson was born on December 9, 1935 in Bismarck, N. Dakota to Jesse & Alberta Fraser Wilson.
He died at a Longview, WA. hospital on June 15, 2010 at the age of 74.
Leonard was educated in Bismarck and Wing, N. Dakota. He married Elsie Sundquist on March 26, 1960 in Wilton, N. Dakota. They lived in N. Dakota, Montana, Washington and Alaska before settling in Deer Island, Oregon in 1975.
He worked at the Garrison Dam in N. Dakota, worked at many different sawmills in the above named states and was a millwright at Boise in St. Helens before starting his towing company Len's Towing for 13 years.
He enjoyed watching wrestling on t.v. and going to softball games.
Survivors include: Wife-Elsie Wilson of Deer Island; Daughters & son-in-laws: Sherry & Norm Paladeni of Tillamook; Julie & Steve Decious of St. Helens; Sons: Richard & Dale Wilson both of Zap, N. Dakota; 3 sisters: Ellen Mae Kirkey, Helen McClure both of Bismarck, N. Dakota; Arlene Johnson Kenneth of Baldwin, N. Dakota; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
