Leonard R. Paintner's Obituary
Leonard R. Paintner was bornon November 6, 1934 in Cooperstown, N. Dakota to Fred & Alice Holter Paintner.
He died at his home in St. Helens on September 15, 2007 at the age of 72.
Graduated from Cooperstown, N. Dakota High School, married to Avonne Mootz on October 26, 1957. They moved to Gresham in 1966.
He worked for Multnomah Plywood for 25 years and Home Depot for 2 years.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church in St. Helens and enjoyed wintering in Arizona.
Survivors include: Wife-Avonne Paintner; Son: Fred Paintner; Son & Daughter-in-law: Brent & Dawn Paintner; Daughter & Son-in-law: Marjo & Jon Paladini; Siblings: Richard Paintner & Darlene Westergren; 4 grandchildren: Tyler, Nicole, Gianni, Vince Paladini.
Viewing & visitation: 12-7 Wednesday at Columbia Funeral Home
Funeral Service: Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 11:00 AM at First Lutheran Church-St. Helens
Committal service & vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.
