Leslie Martin Cairel's Obituary
Leslie Martin Cairel was born on October 21, 1947 in Lexington, Kentucky to Leslie S. & Ruth ShryockCairel.
He died at his home in Deer Island on April 9, 2011 at the age of 63.
Leslie moved to Oregon in 1974 and in 1978 recieved a 2 years degree from PCC in Public Relations and went on to receive an engineering degree.
He married Rebecca Olson on September 3, 1977.
Marty had Macular Degeneration and became the "Mr. Mom" and Rebecca went to work.
He made alot of friends throughout the years and he was always there when they needed him. He was proud of the little slice of heaven in the country making it beautiful in three years.
Survivors include: Wife: Rebecca Cairel of Deer Island; Children: Crystal of Tigard; Leslie MacLean of Deer Island; Mother Ruth Cariel of Indianapolis, IN.; Brothers: David of Chicago; James of Indianapolis; his father preceded him in death in 1972.
