Lillian Johnson Fraser's Obituary
A memorial service will be held at a later date for Lillian Fraser. Lillian passed away in Scappoose, Oregon on August 27th. She was 91 years of age.
Lillian was born November 18, 1919 at Rosendale, Missouri to Henry and Sadie Bell McCallon Johnson. She was one of eleven children. Just before she turned 20 she married her husband, Lloyd Arnold Fraser, on September 2, 1939. They later moved West for work finally landing in North Bend, Oregon in 1949, where Lloyd worked for the lumber mills and she later worked packaging crab and shrimp meat for the Peterson Seafood Processing plant for many years.
It's here they raised their family and lived until 2006 when she moved to Scappoose to be closer to her family. The family were members of the North Bend 1st Baptist Church where she taught in the nursery and visited the homebound church members.
She loved gardening, and fishing for salmon, baking, cooking, and playing many card games including Pinochle.
Lillian is survived by her children; Louise and husband Lester Lapping of St. Helens, Delbert Fraser of St. Helens, Richard Fraser of N. Bend and David & wife Yan Fraser of Cornelius, 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Lillian is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years and her son, Lloyd Jr.
