Lloyd B. Zatterberg's Obituary
Lloyd was born August 31, 1918 in Yankton, Oregon to Herman and Anna Skoglund Zatterberg. He died March 29, 2008 at his St. Helens home. Lloyd lived all of his life around St. Helens and was raised in Columbia City. He graduated from St. Helens High School. His father died in 1921 and his mom raised him with 3 brothers.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Anna Lisa Zatterberg and three brothers, Eric, Henry and William.
He married Anna Lisa in Leksand, Sweden in 1979, she passed away in 1994. He served in World War 11 with the Timberwolfs in Germany. He was a longtime member of the Columbia River Fourquare Church.
Survivors include, his stepdaughters, Noomi Tainter of St. Helens, and Miriam Jedenfalle-Axelsson of Sweden and his friend, Heidi Freimuth of Scappoose, and his grandchildren. Also survived by one remaining nephew, Mark Zatterberg of Canby, Oregon.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Columbia River Foursquare Church. Private burial was held at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, Warren, Oregon
