Lois Balteau's Obituary
Long time Columbia County resident, Lois Balteau passed away of cancer at the age of 86 in her home in Scappoose on November 6th at 12:45A.M.
She was born to Frank Breninger and Ruth Moberly on July 6th, 1921 in Armel, Colorado. She moved to Oregon in 1941. She married Albert Balteau in 1944 and eventyally settled in Scappoose. She was a homemaker and mother. She was a Church of Christ member all of her life.
She was surived by her three children; Ronald Balteau of Astoria, Michael Balteau of Warren, and Suzanne Yager of Scappoose. Three grandchlidren; Rick Yager of Scappoose, Raymond Balteau of Manito Illinois, and Cheri Adams also of Scappoose. Six great grandchildren; Kaysha and Heather Adams of Scappoose, Natalie, Tori, Shawnee and Heidi Balteau of Manito, Illinois. Her brother, Lonnie Breninger of Gresham, and two sisters; Louise Fowler and Evelyn Mattie Sanks both of Warren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Albert in 1995. Her brother Clelon Breninger of Portland and her sister Betty Edmonds of Brush Prairie.
A memorial service will be hild on Thursday November 15th at 2:00P.M. at the Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens. Internment will be at the Columbia Memorial Gardens.
