Lois Jean Stierwalt's Obituary
Lois Jean Stierwalt was born on August 4, 1932 in Ashland, Nebraska to David & Violet Owen Root.
She died at her home in Warren, Oregon on April 3, 2012 at the age of 79.
Lois attended schools in Ashland, Nebraska through grade nine and continued to live there.
She met and was married to Billy Stierwalt on September 21, 1955 in Wahoo, Nebraska. They arrived in Columbia County in 1965 and have lived in the area since.
Lois was a homemaker and a Christian who enjoyed sewing, puzzles, gambling, and doll collecting.
She is survived by Husband: Billy Stierwalt; Daughter: Theresa Drak Johnny both of Warren, OR, daughter in law; Terri Stiewalt, Siblings; Defane Zvolanek of Ashland, NE; Jerry Root of Iowa; three Grandchildren: Duffy, Chelsea, and Wes; and four Great-Grandchildren;Maddison, Seth, Austin and Lance Lois was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Stierwalt.
Viewing & Visitation: 9-5; Thursday and Funeral Service: Friday, April 6, 2012 at 1:30 PM both at Columbia Funeral Home, St. Helens, OR.
Committal Service & Vault Interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scapoose, OR.
