Lois May McCallum's Obituary
Lois May McCallum was born on December 7, 1923 in Rainier, OR. to John & Hazel Derry McIntire.
She died on June 2, 2006 at a Scappoose care center at the age of 82.
She lived all of her adult life in St. Helens. She married Robert McCallum on December 7, 1943. He preceded her in death in 1994.
She was a homemaker and in her early years worked at Longview Fibre.
She was a member of the Deer Island Grange & extension, she loved cupie dolls and was a member of the Cupie Club of Branson, MO. She was very artistic, did alot of embroidery and textile painting. She canned, made jams and jellies and won many ribbons and trophies at the Columbia Co. Fair. She was a wonderful cook and made delicious desserts. She loved otlucks and family gatherings and took many of her incerdible & famous dishes.
Survivors include: Daughter: Linda Flindt; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Robert McCallum, Jr. in '02.
She and her cat Darrell will miss eachother.
Celebration of Life: Friday, June 9, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens.
Private Vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose.
