Lois - Thomas' Obituary
Lois Thomas was born on July 6, 1913 in Cody, Wyoming to Joseph & Maude Calvert Hooker.
She died at her home in Maryville Nursing Home in Beaverton, OR. on August 4, 2010 at the age of 97.
Lois moved to Yankton in 1917 from Cody, Wyoming and attended Yankton Grade School. She married Charles Rigdon in 1934, they divorced in 1968, she then married L.S. Thomas in 1969, he preceded her in death in 2003.
She worked at the bag factory for 25 years retiring in 1974.
Lois was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, her kids and grandkids, traveling and animals.
Survivors include: 3 children: Linda Rigdon of Portland; Charles & Wayne Rigdon both of St. Helens; 3 stepchildren: Gary Thomas of Gresham; Allard Thomas of Madras; Janice Jensen of Albany, OR.; 2 sisters: Betty Cloud & Jean Harwood both of Scappoose; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-St. Helens
