Lorene Z. Kappert's Obituary
Lorene Z. Kappert was born on June 12, 1918 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana to John & Sarah Seagraves Marx.
She died at a St. Helens care center on May 23, 2005 at the age of 86.
She was married to Edward Kappert for 53 years when he preceded her in death on 2/20/90.
She worked at Kearny Care Center, Lovejoy & St. Vincent Hospitals, Flanders Draperies all in Portland. She also worked at Birdseye in Hillsboro and her last job where she retired was a sodderer for Tectronix in Beaverton.
Survived by: Children: Dorothy Meyers of Nevada; Rose Bolinger of St. Helens; Carolyn Sherman of Clatskanie, OR.; Cindy VanDolah of Rainier, OR.; Thomas Kappert of Scappoose, OR.; Larry Kappert of Irrigon, OR.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; preceded in death by daughter: Zella Kappert in 1972.
Funeral service: Friday, May 27, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens
Committal service & interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.

She was a member of Shilo Basin Church, she was very outgoing and active in the Senior centers in Rainier and St. Helens. She loved dancing and going to Reno.
