Lorma A. Douglas' Obituary
Lorma A. Douglas was born on August 5, 1909 in Ponca, OK. to Lloyd & Hulda Felman Flott.
She died in a nursing home in Clinton, Maryland on February 16, 2006 at the age of 96.
She received her education in normal school in Kansas and a teaching certificate after attending night classes in Oregon.
She moved to St. Helens in 1938 where she taught school at bachelor flats and then 1st grade at McBride School. She retired at the age of 70. She moved to Maryland in 1998 to be closer to her daughter.
She was married to Winston Douglas who preceded her in death on 2/1/86.
She was a member of Plymouth Presbyterian Church and she enjoyed gardening and birds. She had bird feeders and bird bath outside her window at the nursing facility in Maryland.
Survivors include: Daughter: Donna Lou Sheaffer of Oxon Hill, Maryland; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

Private interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.
