Lorraine M. Czmowski was born on February 22, 1923 in Butler, S. Dakota to Leo & Pearl Gray Schoenbeck.
She died in a Longview, Washington care center on February 8, 2006 at the age of 82.
She was educated in Butler, South Dakota and married Sylvester in Webster, S. Dakota on 10/7/41.
They moved Portland in 1963, then to St. Helens for 18 years until moving to Longview, WA. in 2002 until present.
She was a member of St. Frederic Catholic Church in St. Helens and then Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Kelso, WA., she has been very active in both churches. She was in a quilting club in the church as well as the St. Helens Senior Center.
Her enjoyments included flowers, gardening, dancing and music.
Survivors include: Husband: Sylvester Czmowski of Longview, WA.; Sons: James of Bend, OR.; and Richard of Portland, OR.; Daughter: Linda Symonds of Longview, WA.; Sisters: Carolyn Pooley of Haakinson, WA.; Marilyn Hastings of Imperial Beach, CA.; 4 grandchildren: 7 great grandchildren.
Memorial Mass: Wendesday, 2/15/06 at 12:15 PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 2200 Allen St.-Kelso, WA.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Longview Hospice.
