Lowell R. Smith's Obituary
Lowell R. Smith was born on December 30, 1934 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Lowell F. & Betty Fay Smith.
He died at his home in Beaverton, Oregon on March 11, 2008 at the age of 73 with his family surrounding him.
He was in the Air Force from August of 1952 until July of 1960.
He married Betty Lou Bensing on January 21, 1953 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Together they made thier home in Beaverton in May of 1962 moving from Billings, Montana.
He was a self-employed cabinet maker from 1964 until 1998 when he retired from his company Unique Kitchens.
He was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include: Wife: Betty Lou Smith; Sons: Lowell R. Smith II, Gary A. Smith; Daughters: Mary Lou Morris, Linda Sue Lock, Robbin Rymah; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son Larry J. Smith and a grandson; Army Specialist: Joseph Jeffries Smith.
