Lucile Opal Shock's Obituary
Lucille Opal Holeman Shock ws born December 1, 1927 to Rolland J and Opal C. Keller Holeman and Died November 25, 2006 at her Deer Island home. She moved to Oregon as a young child from Oklahoma. She lived in Hermiston until Lucile and Clarence Edward Shock were married on April 8, 1946 in Pasco, WA. Clarence was in the Navy. They had 4 daughters and one son: Geraldine Gerri and Gordon Roup of Reno, Juanita NenO and Louis McMinds of Troutdale, Helen and John Brink of Deer Island, Rosetta Rosie and Ed Brower of Gresham, Clarence Eddie and Sandi Shock of Mulino, OR; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She has 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Don Holeman of AZ, Patsy Califf of Sandy, OR, Betty Bullard of Herminston and Ron Holeman of Powell Butte, OR. Lucile moved to Deer Island in 2002 with her daughter and son-in-law. They enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and crocheting. Lucile and Clarence belonged to the Elks and American Legion since 1970. She is preceded in death by her husband in 1988 and a great grandson, Brandon James in 1992.
Graveside services will be held, Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Oregon.
