Lula Belle Luttrell

Lula Belle Luttrell was born on February 21, 1919 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas and passed away August 6, 2015 in Hillsboro, Oregon. Her parents were Robert and Margie Rickert. She grew up in Mt. View, Arkansas and married Shelton Luttrell in 1938. They traveled west and settled in Saint Helens, Oregon 1946. They had one son, Shelton Luttrell, Jr.
Lula worked for many years for Jewel Ice Cream Company in St. Helens and was a member of the Teamsters Union where she was also shop steward. She retired in 1978.
Her husband, 1 brother, and 3 sisters preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son Shelton Luttrell, grandchildren; Craig Huff (Debbie) Vancouver, Washington, Curtis Luttrell (Rick) Palm Springs, California, Laura Meyer (Jeff) and Leslie Luttrell, St. Helens, Oregon, and four great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Memorials can be made to your favorite charity.
The family wishes to express their thanks for the wonderful care and compassion Lula received from the staff of the EmpRes Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsboro, Oregon the last months of her life.
