Lynda Mae Sinner's Obituary
Lynda Mae Sinner passed away on April 3, 2018 at the age of 69 at home surrounded by family and friends.
Lynda was born on November 6, 1948 in Council Bluffs Iowa to Harold and Betty Elder. The family moved to Scappoose in 1952, later resided in St Helens. Where Lynda lived for 64 years. She attended John Gum school for 2 years, then attended St Frederic’s Catholic School until the 8th grade. She Graduated from St Helens High School in 1967. Later she married and had two sons, Mark and Todd Griffith.
She loved doing prison and street ministries. She had a passion to share the Gospel. She went on a mission trip to Chile. She was active in her church and community. Jesus was her rock. She loved to travel, enjoyed gardening, going to the beach and kayaking became a favorite family outing. She loved spending time and taking care of her grandchildren. She treasured spending time with her sons and daughter in laws and her friends.
She was survived by Her father Harold Elder, sister Susan Reynolds and brother in law Steve and her brother David Elder and her sister in law Susie. Her son Mark and daughter in law Theresa Griffith. Her son Todd and daughter in law Vicki and her grandson Scott and grand daughter Savannah.
