Mabel was such a wonderful lady. She always had a kind word and smile for everyone she ever met. She will be greatly missed. She is smiling at everyone from Heaven. Prayers for her family.

I knew Mabel while attending Bethany Lutheran Church. She was always there at Bethany taking care of all the behind the scenes stuff. Stuff that always seemed to get done and when I met Mabel I realized who did it. I later realized that she was the "no BS" row boss at the strawberry field. I have to say that you always knew where you stood with her. We were friends and I think she also felt that way. Happy New Year Tom amd Mabel. God Bless. Love Jeff
I lost a good friend.
Mabel and I first met when she was a superintendent in the Ag. Bldg. and I was a volunteer in the county fair office.
When she was at the pool there was a reserved spot on the wall that belonged to Mabel. If I gave her a ride home, I often left with a pan of cinnamon rolls.
I will remember her with love and respect for the truly good person she was.
My deepest sympathy. Mary Kucera
Mabel was a great lady. We, here, at the Senior Center certainly will miss seeing her. Before she moved to Spring Meadows, she was here daily, picking up and scraping plates. She told me once that she was going to have to find a different Senior Center, as we did not have enough work for her here. This at 91!! My children grew up in the days of picking strawberries for school clothes. Mabel was a row boss. Beneath that gruff and rough exterior was a warm gentle loving person. How she truly loved all of her 'stawberry kids'. Marvel Brown
