Mabel "Louise" Fowler's Obituary
Louise Fowler passed away in St. Helens, January 26, 2019.
Louise was born July 28, 1923 to Ruth and Frank Breninger in Armel, Colorado. She was one of six children. She moved to Oregon in 1941 and has resided there since.
In 1944, Louise would marry Earl Fowler in Vancouver, Washington. Together they had four children; Stephen, Judy, Kaye and Bill; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. Louise was a homemaker in the earlier years, while Earl was a Military Policeman in the Army. A bit later in life Louise had a few different jobs, but eventually owned her own Gift Shop, “Final Touch Gifts.”
She lived in Portland for close to twenty years, but Earl and Louise settled down in Warren, Oregon and lived there for nearly fifty years. She was a member of the Church of Christ throughout her life. Louise loved to go fishing, knit and sew, and enjoyed going to garage sales.
She is preceded in death by her husband Earl Fowler.
Louise is survived by her brother Lonnie, her children Stephen and wife Wanda Fowler, Judy Hall, Kaye and husband Merle Hanson, Bill Fowler, and all of her grandchildren. She will be missed by so many.
Celebration of Life will be held at Scappoose Church of Christ on February 2nd at 11:00 am. Luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bridge the Gap at http://bridgethegapforkidscc.org/
