Mae Velma Tolleshaug of St. Helens, Oregon passed away on May 16, 2016 at the age of 86. Mae was born September 7, 1929 to Elias and Ulriika Karjala in Quincy, Oregon.
She attended and graduated from Clatskanie High School in 1947. Mae married her husband Robert C. Tolleshaug on November 27, 1948 in Rainier, Oregon they were married for 67 years.
Mae was a member of the local VFW and she and Robert enjoyed lunch at the St. Helens Senior Center every day. She also loved to dance.
Mae is survived by her husband Robert and their children; Larry (Jill), Neal (Nancy) and Craig (Susan); 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations in her name can be made to the St. Helens Senior Center.
A Celebration of Life service will be held June 11, 2016 @ 1pm at the St. Helens Senior Center.
