MaKayla Elizabeth Mae Langley's Obituary
A vibrant, beautiful young girl, who was always smiling and made those around her smile, joined the angles on April 11, 2008. She was 14 years old.
Born on December 16, 1993 in McMinnville, OR, MaKayla Elizabeth Mae Langley touched the lives of many throughout Texas, the Portland area, and in St. Helens, OR, where she was in the 7th grade at St. Helens Middle School.
Her Sassy attitude, her love for animals, camping, family, and friends, along with her deep desire for peace and happiness for those close to her, will be some of the most cherished memories for all who were blessed to know our shining star.
Among those left to carry on her light are her parents Mary Bastian & Jack Hutchison, and HL & Anna Britt, Brothers; Michael, Beau, Austin, Skylar, Brock, and Damian. Sisters; Tarah, Ashley, August, Brittany, Stephanie, Justice, and Amanda. Grandparents; Gary & Anita Bastian, Judy Nystrom, and Paul & Kaye Knottingham, and Great Grandmother Pattie Long, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and a large extended family.
A public veiwing from 9 AM - 5 PM on Thursday April 24th will be held at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens. A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Friday April 25th at 11 AM at the Elks Lodge in St. Helens. Graveside services will follow at 2 PM at Skyline Memorial Gradens. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the "MaKayla Langley" memorial fund set up at US Bank to help cover funeral expenses.
