Margaret Anne Hoagland's Obituary
Margaret Anne Hoagland was born on April 5, 1925 in Sedro Woolley, WA.
to Foster & Mary Clark Rutledge.
She died at her home in St. Helens on February 20, 2007 at the age of 81.
She received her bachelors degree in Sedro Woolley, WA. and her masters degree at Portland State University.
She was a teacher at Abernethy Grade School in the Portland Public School District, retiring in 1981.
She married James Hoagland in Sedro Woolley, WA. on December 24, 1948. He preceded her in death in 2002.
She moved to Portland from Bozeman, MT. in 1963 and to St. Helens in September of 2004.
She was baptized into the LDS Church in 2003. He enjoyments included geneology, reading, rock hunting and traveling. She was a member of the geneological society.
Survivors include: Children: Kristin Murphy of St. Helens; Stephen Hoagland of Portland, OR.; Sister: Mary Jean Hoagland of Anacortes, WA.; 6 grandchildren; 1 adopted great grandchild.
Funeral Service: Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, St. Helens
Interment: Willamette National Cemetery-Portland, OR.
