Margaret Ruth Lain's Obituary
Margaret Ruth Lain, 69, of Saint Helens, passed away on June 14, 2016 with all of her family by her bedside.
Margaret was born on July 5, 1946 in Norfolk, Virginia to Glen and Genevieve Anderson. She graduated in 1964 from St. Helens.
On December 22, 1965 she married the love of her life, Roger Lain. They had four children, Andrew, Jennifer, Rodney and Jamie. Margaret loved spending time with her children, and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her best friend, Mary Lou Lires, father Glen and mother Genevieve Anderson.
Margaret is survived by her spouse, Roger Lain, her children, Andrew, Jennifer, Rodney and Jamie and son-in-law Kenny, her ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren with one on the way. Her sister Kathy Savage from Neahalem, Oregon and her brother Walter Anderson from Kelso, Washington.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 11:00am-2:00pm at her home located at 115 N. 2nd Street - Saint Helens, Oregon. The celebration will be a potluck so please feel free to bring your favorite side dish.
