Marilyn G. Smith was born on April 4, 1942 in Portland, OR. to Hal & Rozella Miller Newell.
She died at her home in Rainier, OR. on August 31, 2006 at the age of 64.
She was educated in Portland, married Thomas on August 4, 1962 in Stevenson, WA.
She sold real estate early on, her interests were homemaking, gardening and she loved her kids and grandkids.
They lived in Columbia City and then moved to Rainier/Goble area 20 years ago.
Survivors include: Husband: Thomas Smith; Son: Guy Bergland Maryall of Goble, OR.; Daughter: Le An Powell of St. Helens, OR.; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life: Yankton Baptist Church; Friday, 9/8/06 at 3:00 PM
Interment: Neer City Cemetery-Goble, OR.
