Marilyn Joyce Skipworth's Obituary
Marilyn Joyce Skipworth of Saint Helens, Oregon was 82. She passed away on October 25, 2024, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Marilyn was born November 4, 1941, in Dayton, Ohio to Elvis and Zella Scott. Marilyn moved to Saint Helens as a young girl. She met Vern Skipworth in her teen years, and they soon married. Marilyn and Vern raised a family in the Saint Helens area. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crafting and decorating for every holiday. She is proceeded in death by her mother Zella, father Elvis, husband Vern, and son Vern Junior. She is survived by her children, Dearld, Lori, Katrina, Jennifer, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marilyn will be laid to rest at Bethany Memorial cemetery. She will have a celebration of life at a future date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Meals on Wheels.
