Marion - Chapman's Obituary
Marion Chapman was born on January 20, 1913 in Newton, Kansas to Roy & Cleo Sharits Owens.
She died at her home in Warren, OR. on February 7, 2004 at the age of 91.
She was educated and graduated from Newton Hi in 1931. She moved to Troutdale, OR. in '46 from Utah, living there until moving to Warren, OR. in 2001.
She married Louis B. Chapman in 1953, he preceded her in death in '76.
She was a waitress for a number of years, a Harvey Girl for the railroad, then she attended Portland Community College to receive her education in accounting. She worked as a CPA up until she retired in 2001.
Her interests included: gardening, flowers and bowling.
Survivors include: 4 granchildren: Tom Click of Craig, AK.; Cathy Brown of Warren, OR.; Marcie Brumbaugh of St. Helens, OR.; Patricia Jones of Monroe, OR.; Sister: Ruth Barclay of Kingman, AZ.
9 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren.
Nicheside service & interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens.-Wed. 2/11/04 at 2:00 PM.
