Marjorie Helen Hein's Obituary
Marjorie Helen Hein, 89 year old resident of Scappoose passed away June 25, 2006 at her Scappoose home. She was born November 11, 1916 in Rockford, Minnesota the daughter of Herman and Eldora Tritabaugh. Marjorie married Ronald John Hein on November 11, 1935. They moved to Oregon in 1935 and to the Scappoose area in 1937. Marjorie was employed for Dewey Adams at the St. Helens Grocery Store for years, then Bill Phillips, Gib Urie, P & G Thriftway and her last place of employment was asst. manager of the pizza parlor.She loved her yard, flowers, garden, canning, sewing and crocheting. They had two daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband on December 22, 1989 and by her first daughter, Muriel M. Stein on March 6, 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy L. Buchanan of Scappoose; five grandchildren, Brent Stronge and his wife, Tracey, Linda Webb and her husband, Robert, Leslie Monahan, DeAnna McCollum and her husband, Willis, and Lori Myers and her husband, Jim. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, Tyson, Tiffani, Taylor, B.J., Travis, Regan and Brooke. Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home, St. Helens, Oregon.
