Marjorie W. Trisdale's Obituary
Marjorie W. Trisdale was born on March 23, 1923 in Kelso, WA. to Albin & Hattie Woollen Nelson.
She died at her home in St. Helens on December 21, 2009 at the age of 86.
Marjorie attended and graduated from Longview High School in 1940. In 1941 she married Theron Trisdale at the Assembly of God Church in Kelso, WA., he preceded her in death in 1985.
They lived in Goble where they raised strawberries and she sold mobile homes for 5 years, retiring in 1974. After her husbands death she lived for 1 year in Spirit Lake, Idaho until moving back to St. Helens in 1987.
She was a member of 1st Missionary Baptist Church and the St. Helens Senior Center. She enjoyed embroidery work, reading and her grand and great grandchildren.
Survivors include: Children: JoAnn Higgs of St. Helens; Fred L. Trisdale of Rainier; Michael Trisdale of St. Maries, Idaho; Siblings: Chester Nelson of Longview, WA.; Barbara Gaddis of Vancouver, WA.; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 3 step grandsons & 4 step great grandchildren; preceded in death by son: John Trisdale in '88; Brothers: Frank & Lloyd Nelson; Sister: Dorothy DeVoe.
Memorial service: Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 10:00 AM at 1st Missionary Baptist Church-St. Helens
Private interment: Bunker Hill Cemetery-Longview, WA.
