Mark H. Gift's Obituary
Mark Homer Gift, 75, of Scappoose, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 surrounded by his family.
Mark was born February 1, 1938, in Portland, Oregon, a son of Donald and Nellie Gift. He married Marlene Jean Heimuller on May 29, 1957.
Survivors also include two sons, Mark A. Gift and Martin Gift both of Scappoose; two daughters Mary Tate of Oakville, Washington and Marie McGuire of Scappoose; his brother Stephen Gift of Scappoose; his sister Donna Espelien of Scappoose; and six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; and brother; and two nephews.
Mark owned his own business for the majority of his life. He built roads, logged and drove truck. He was the dad that helped us all; the grandpa that loved and spoiled (well loved as he would say). Words cannot begin to express the hole that is left in our hearts. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Warren Community Fellowship, 56523 Columbia River Hwy., Warren, Oregon.
