Martha J. Duyck's Obituary
Martha J. Duyck was born on March 10, 1916 in Atkinson, NE to Charles & Margaret FosterWilkinson.
She died at her son's home in St. Helens, OR. on June 16, 2004 at the age of 88.
She was educated in Lincoln, Nebraska
She worked picking berries, drove a milk truck, a seamstress at Boise in Portland, making tents and sleeping bags. New York Merchandise in Portland, Portland Seed Company. Took care of elderly people and a wonderful seamstress. She enjoyed living & working on the farm. Other enjoyments included crafts, sewing, crocheting, gardening, flowers, her family and grandkids. She was a member of St. Frederic Catholic Church.
She married Henry Scholl in 1944 in Porland, Oregon, she then married to Emil Duyck in 1976, he also preceded her in death.
She moved to Portland, Oregon in 1944. In 1998 she moved to St. Helens area to be closer to family.
Survived by Children: Mary Jane Pontius, Kathy Boothe, Ellen Scholl, Charlie, Raymond, George & Richard Scholl; Brother: Charles Wilkinson; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son: Howard in 1998.
Viewing & Visitation: 9-5 Monday at Columbia Funeral Home
Mass of Christian Burial: St. Frederic Catholic Church; Tuesday June 22, 2004 at 10:00 AM
Committal service & interment: Skyline Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Portland, OR.
